Sitting down by the river,
just biding my time.
Coming up with a sweet melody,
and some good words to rhyme.
Then I opend God's Word,
and It spoke right to me.
sweet words of Salvation,
for my soul eternally.
Then I went walking down the road a piece,
just to see whom I might meet.
To share these Words of encouragement,
and set an other captive free.
Now I've come to realize,
Jesus is my Melody.
The Word of God is my lyric sheet,
The only Words I'll ever sing.

Pretty red and green lights from our Christmas tree.

Today the smell of spring came to me of the wind.
and I remember how a mello brease can feel, and in it's fragrant beauty I remain.

My Father's arms are strong when I need protection.

The Words of my Father guide me each day.

Out on the cattle drive's where I've been.
A punching and a whoopin through the dust and the haze.
Just giving the Lord some cowboy praise.

I talk to God along the way,
as I go about my day,
to see what He has to say about the way I'm carrying on.
He gives me guidence for each step.
I thank the Lord for each breath.
that He provides until my death when He carries me away.

Give them courage to take a stand,
