Lord I Need A Lover by Steven Walle

The sun shines so brightly on my old Montana home.
When there's no one to share it with, it makes a bodyfeel alone.
It's been so long since I've had a girl to have and to hold.
When you sleep alone in a bed for two it makes the nights so long and cold.
I'd give my bottom dollar to be happy once again.
Lord I need a lover, but I'll sebtle for a friend.
I guess I'll face an other day and pick this guitar and sing,
keep my mind occupied so I don't feel the pain.
Won't let my mind drift back on the girl I left behind.
The woman who broke my heart in two, and tangled up my mind.
It's been so long since I've had a girl to have and to hold.
When you sleep alone in a bed for two, it makes the nights so long and cold.
I'd give my bottom dollar to be happy once again.
Lord I need a lover, but I'll sebtle for a friend.
I'd give my bottom dollar to be happy once again.
Lord I need a lover, but I'll sebtle for a friend.
